Effective: November 1, 2026

This English version is a reference translation. The Japanese version is the official text. If the two differ, the Japanese version prevails.

Shingo Ono (trade name: Chelate AI Works; the “Operator”) handles users’ personal information and other information in “Buzzmeijin!” (the “Service”) in accordance with this Policy.

Article 1 (Information We Collect)

  • Sign-in information (the identifier, display name and profile picture provided by Google or LINE; for Google, also your verified email address)
  • The video links, additional instructions and prompts you enter, and the images you upload
  • The still frames used for analysis (made from the video you entered), transcripts, analysis results, and the generated videos
  • Records of your credit balance and of credits added, used and purchased
  • Cookies and session information (to keep you signed in), and access logs (IP address, browser type, date and time; to prevent misuse and to handle outages)
  • Analytics information (browsing statistics from Google Analytics)

Article 2 (How We Use It)

  • Providing the Service (analyzing and generating videos), and storing and displaying outputs
  • Managing accounts, adding and using credits, managing balances, and handling payments and purchase records
  • Detecting and preventing misuse and fraudulent charges, and operating the Service safely
  • Answering inquiries and sending important notices
  • Improving the quality of the Service (including statistical analysis)
  • Complying with the law

Article 3 (Videos You Enter)

The video at a link you enter is fetched temporarily for analysis and deleted right after we make the still frames, the transcript, and the cut and volume figures. The original video is never saved on our servers or in our cloud storage.

Article 4 (Payment Information)

Payment information, such as card numbers and PayPay details, is collected and processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe, Inc.) and is not stored on the Operator’s servers. The Operator keeps only records of whether a payment succeeded, the amount and what was bought.

Article 5 (Outside Services and Provision to Third Parties in Other Countries)

To provide its features, the Service uses the following outside services and sends them the data they need. Each company handles information under its own privacy policy.

  • BytePlus (Singapore): we send prompts and uploaded images to generate videos and write prompts.
  • Alibaba Cloud (Singapore): we send still frames, transcripts and instructions to analyze videos.
  • Cloudflare (USA): to store outputs, still frames, uploaded images and database backups.
  • Render (USA; the servers are in Singapore): to run the Service’s servers.
  • Stripe (USA): to process payments.
  • Google (USA) and LY Corporation (LINE; Japan): for sign-in (OAuth). Google Analytics: for analytics.

Some of these are third parties located outside Japan. Apart from the above, we do not provide personal information to third parties, except where required by law or with your consent.

Article 6 (Security Measures)

To prevent leaks, loss or damage of the information we collect, the Operator takes reasonable security measures, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access restrictions, keeping each user’s data separate, time-limited links to stored files, and a design that does not hold payment information.

Article 7 (Retention Period)

Generated videos, still frames and uploaded images are deleted automatically once 30 days have passed since they were created. Account, credit and purchase records are kept for as long as needed to provide the Service and as required by law. When they are no longer needed, or when you ask us to delete them, we delete them, except where the law requires us to keep them.

Article 8 (Cookies and Analytics)

The Service uses the following cookies.

  • bz_session: keeps you signed in (required)
  • bz_lang: remembers the display language you chose (for one year; the same choice is also saved in your browser’s storage)
  • Google Analytics (GA4) cookies (_ga and those starting with _ga_): for browsing statistics

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to send browsing information to Google, such as the pages you view, your approximate region, and your device and browser type. We do not use its advertising features (Google signals or ad personalization). For visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics is set up not to use analytics cookies (statistics that do not rely on cookies are still sent to Google). You can stop collection by Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. If you turn off cookies, some features, such as signing in, may not work.

Article 9 (Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Deletion and More)

If you would like us to disclose, correct, stop using or delete your information, please contact us at the address below. Once we have confirmed that you are the person concerned, we will respond without delay in accordance with the law.

Article 10 (Changes)

The Operator may change this Policy when necessary. Important changes will be announced on the Service, and the changed Policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.

Article 11 (For Users Outside Japan)

  1. Where your data is kept: your information is mainly stored and processed in the following places.
    • Japan: the Operator. Part of the work of temporarily fetching linked videos is done on the Operator’s computer in Japan, and the video is deleted right after analysis.
    • Singapore: the Service’s servers and database (Render), and analysis and generation at BytePlus and Alibaba Cloud.
    • Cloudflare: outputs, still frames, uploaded images and database backups (Cloudflare R2; Cloudflare chooses the region where they are stored).
In addition, each company listed in Article 5 processes information in the countries it needs to provide its service.
  2. If you are in the EEA or the UK (GDPR and UK GDPR): the Operator handles your information on the basis of providing the Service (performance of a contract), preventing misuse and improving quality (legitimate interests), and legal obligations. You have the right to request access to, correction of and deletion of your information, restriction of its processing, to object to its processing, and to data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. Japan is recognized by the EU as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data. Transfers to companies in other countries are made under the data processing terms each company sets (including standard contractual clauses).
